Raymond F. Agrella holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English awarded by Lake Forest College, 1959. He received an Officer’s Commission from the United States Coast Guard in 1960 and served on active duty until 1963 when he was honorably discharged. He then attended Loyola University Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1967. He became a partner in the law firm of Shearer, O’Brien, Blood, Agrella and Boose in 1971, and remained a partner until 1995 when he formed his own law firm of Shearer & Agrella. Said law firm merged with Griffin Williams LLP in 2019.
Mr. Agrella has served as past president of the St. Charles Optimist Club and the Delnor Hospital Men’s Foundation. He helped found the St. Charles Community Chest and served on its board for many years. He served as Counsel for Elgin Community College. He is presently Counsel for St. Charles Township. He was elected to the Board of Directors of The State Bank of St. Charles in 1983 and subsequently remained a Director of Harris Bank St. Charles, its successor, until 2008. Mr. Agrella served on the Board of Directors of the Midwest Golf Pro-Am benefitting Special Olympics for twenty (20) years.
Mr. Agrella concentrates his practice in all aspects of real estate law and litigation, including landlord/tenant. Additionally, Mr. Agrella handles personal injury, estate planning, probate, wills and trusts, and business entity formation, and general corporate counsel services.
